Scholarships
Membership Scholarship
The CGPK Board of Directors is pleased to announce the launch of a new membership scholarship program for individuals from organizations without funding for specialized training in charitable gift planning.
What the scholarship includes:

One-year paid membership to both CGPK and National CGP organization

Second-year paid National CGP membership (recipient responsible for CGPK local dues of $120)

Registration for the annual CGPK Gift Planning Conference
Total two-year value: $740 (the scholarship will renew so long as the recipient maintains eligibility, per the criteria below.)
Eligibility Requirements
- Employed by a non-profit organization with three or fewer Development staff members and/or no Charitable Gift Planning/Planned Giving staff

Have at least two years of fundraising experience

Have an interest in learning more about charitable gift planning

Express a commitment to serve on a CGPK committee while receiving the scholarship

Submit a 250-word statement about why you are applying for this scholarship and how you meet the requirements

Obtain approval from supervisor, if applicable

Recipient(s) will be notified within two weeks after application deadline.
As funds allow, additional full scholarships (membership and conference) may be awarded, or additional conference-only scholarships may be awarded.
