Planned Giving 101 and the Art of the Possible

This Planned Giving 101 presentation will cover the most common, yet most powerful, planned giving techniques that charities should include in their discussions with donors about the “Art of the Possible.”

Brian Yeley is the Associate Vice President of Gift Planning Services at the Indiana University Foundation in Bloomington, Indiana. In this capacity, Brian manages IUF’s staff of attorneys responsible for providing gift planning support to donors and fundraising professionals across Indiana University’s eight campuses. Brian serves as the Vice Chair of the Board of the Community Foundation of Bloomington and Monroe County where he also serves as Chair of the Professional Advisors Committee and is a Past President of the Hoosier Hills Estate Planning Council. Prior to joining IUF in 2005, Brian was an attorney at Hoogendoorn and Talbot LLP in Chicago, Illinois where he specialized in tax and estate planning as well as nonprofit administration. He is a graduate of the Indiana University Kelley School of Business and the Indiana University Maurer School of Law. Brian lives in Bloomington with his wife and three children.
